How do I sign up for UPS MY CHOICE®?

Once you have a tracking number, visit theUPS My Choice® page, then select Sign Up. Once you create a user ID and password and provide your name and address, you’ll receive a verification email to complete the setup process.

How do I manage my delivery using UPS MY CHOICE®?

Log in to UPS.com, then enter your tracking number and select Track. After that, follow the prompts for whichever feature you wish to use.

General Questions

How do I select my meals?

Once you log into your account, you can either search by meal category under the "Menu" drop down, or when clicking on "Bulk Order" you can see the entire menu and add from that window.  

When will I know when my meals are coming?

We deliver to Nassau and Suffolk Counties each Sunday.   For "Local Delivery" orders, our customer service team will send you a 3 hour delivery window a few days before your scheduled deliver. Delivery days may be changed due to delivery volume in your area, but you will be notified prior. Please provide a cell phone number so that you receive the text notification that our driver is on the way, as well as when the delivery is completed and picture of where your order was left. Delivery can be made if you are not home, however, we do recommend that the meals be put into the refrigerator as soon as possible, as we do not provide a cooling element within the box. **DELIVERY TIMES WILL VARY EACH WEEK AND CANNOT BE REQUESTED**For "Shipping" orders, UPS will send you tracking information via email.

What if I am not home during my delivery time window?

For "Local Delivery" orders, deliveries can be made if you are not home, however, we do recommend that the meals be put into the refrigerator as soon as possible, as we do not provide a cooling element within the box. For "Shipping" orders, UPS will send you tracking information via email.  Through the UPS My Choice® For Home you can select a local drop off that you can divert your order to and pick it up from there.

What meals are good for weight loss?

All of the meals are healthy for weight loss, however eating 21 muffins will not allow you to reach your weight loss goals so please choose wisely. Depending on your schedule, here are some suggestions: Women may eat: a) 2 full meals and 2 half meals each day (eat every four hours) OR b) 2 full meals and a shake (eat every 5 hours) Men may eat: a) 4 full meals per day (eat every 4 hours) OR b) 2 meals and 2 shakes per day (eat every 4 hours)

When is my order due? What happens if I place my order late?

Orders are due Sunday by midnight. If you place an order after that time your delivery will be pushed to the following week for availability. If you forget to place your order in time, all of our locations are open 7 days a week so you can purchase Grab & Go meals at all locations - no pre-order required!

Why can’t I get my order delivered sooner than the weekend?

HMD prepares orders Monday through Fridays and then needs time to package each order.

What if I used to order a specific item but can no longer find it on the menu?

HMD changes our menu frequently. If an item is not listed it is currently not available for order.

How do I know if my order went through?

You will receive an email confirmation immediately after placing your order. You can also login to your account and go to account history to see all orders placed.

What is the cancellation policy?

The food is prepared fresh per your order. Orders must be cancelled by Wednesdays at noon for full refund. If cancellation is past the deadline, the customer is responsible for full payment. Please note that refunds can take up to 5-7 business days.

Can I modify a meal that I see on the menu?

No, all standard HMD meals cannot be modified or tailored in any way.

What area's do we deliver to?

HMD delivers to many areas of the north east. To see if we deliver to your area, simply put in your zip code for confirmation.  

What time can I pick up my order and where?

Order pick up is Sunday at the selected location at time of your order. Please review your order confirmation to see which location you chose. If your meal package arrives at the store prior to Sunday, our team will let you know via text, email or phone call.

What are your hours and locations?

Can I purchase single meals?

HMD offers Grab & Go meals for individual purchase at all of our locations, which are open 7 days a week for your convenience.

How do I store/heat my meals?

HMD meals come fresh, not frozen, with the exception of our shakes. The expiration dates are listed on labels. You can freeze the meals for up to six (6) months if you will not consume prior to the expiration date. Avoid freezing salads and cold wraps. You can heat our meals by venting a corner of the plastic film, however, if you purchase a meal that has a sauce, dressing or topping, you should peel back the film entirely to remove before heating. If frozen, we suggest taking it out the night before and leaving it in the fridge, allowing it to defrost fully before removing any sauce cups (if applicable) then warming up.

What is the sodium content of your meals?

On average, our meals have 500-700mg of sodium. However, for meals with 500mg of sodium or less, please be sure to check out the "Lower Sodium" section of our menu.

What are the macro counts on meals that have 2 servings?

The macros are for one serving. For example, if the order is for a package of cookies, there are 6 cookies in total. The macro counts would be for 3 cookies.

Why is my packaged bubbled?

Meals that contain peppers, broccoli or cauliflower naturally release gases when cooked. When enclosed in our air tight packaging, the gas is unable to escape and at times can cause the packaging to bubble.

Who qualifies for the 10% discount and how do I obtain it?

We proudly offer 10% off of each online order for the following: Police/Correction Officers, EMS, Military and Firefighters. Please email your work ID to Customer Service at orders@healthymealsdirect.com prior to placing an order. After verification is complete, you will receive confirmation that the discount has been applied to your account and the 10% discount will automatically be deducted from all future orders.

When are meals prepared?

Meals are made fresh when ordered.

What If an item runs out of stock?

If we run out of stock on an item you will receive a similar substitution of equal value.

Do Value Meals count toward tiered discounts?

No. Value Meals do not count toward the meal quantities required to qualify for tiered discounts.

For example, if a customer has 10 meals in their cart but 2 of those meals are Value Meals, they are only considered to have 8 qualifying meals and would not receive the 10-meal discount. The customer would need to add 2 additional non-Value Meals to qualify.

Likewise, Value Meals are not eligible for discounts themselves and are excluded from all tiered discount calculations.

Please also review the product category and cart messaging to see if we can make this more obvious during the ordering process so customers understand how discounts are calculated before checkout.

When Do Subscription Orders Renew?

Subscription orders automatically renew every Sunday at 1:00 PM (Eastern Time).

If you would like to make any changes to your subscription—including:

Changing your delivery frequency

Increasing or decreasing the number of meals

Swapping meal selections

Skipping an upcoming order

Pausing or canceling your subscription

Please make those changes before 1:00 PM on Sunday. Any changes made after the renewal time will apply to your next scheduled subscription order.

Important: Once your subscription renews at 1:00 PM on Sunday, your order enters our production schedule and cannot be modified for that week's delivery.
